our beverages

In 2005, Coca-Cola Enterprises manufactured and distributed more than 520 different products in seven beverage categories including:

• Regular and diet carbonated soft drinks
• Energy drinks
• Still and sparkling waters
• Ready-to-drink teas
• 100 percent juices and juice drinks
• Dairy-based beverages
• Sports drinks

Most of our beverages are brands of The Coca-Cola Company. These include some of the most popular beverage brands in the world: Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite and Diet Coke, as well as Minute Maid Orange Juice, Nestea and Dasani water. CCE also distributes other beverage brands, including Cadbury-Schweppes products, Bravo! dairy products, ROCKSTAR energy drinks and Evian water.

On November 21, 1986, Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. was launched as one of the largest initial public offerings in U.S. history. Listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “CCE,” Coca-Cola Enterprises is the world’s largest marketer, producer and distributor of beverages of The Coca-Cola Company. These beverages include regular and diet carbonated soft drinks, waters, dairy-based beverages, juices, sports drinks, teas and energy drinks. The Coca-Cola Company is our largest shareowner with approximately 36 percent of our common stock as of December 31, 2005.

Under bottling agreements with The Coca-Cola Company and other beverage companies, CCE purchases syrups, concentrates and finished products to manufacture, sell and distribute bottled and canned beverages. In 2005, CCE distributed approximately 2 billion physical cases or 42 billion bottles and cans, representing 20 percent of global volume of The Coca-Cola Company. We generated revenues of nearly US$19 billion in 2005, with strong, free cash flow* of more than US$700 million to our shareowners.

*free cash flow is defined as 2005 cash flow from operations less capital spending

In November 2006, we will celebrate our 20th anniversary as a company. Our history, however, represents many decades of local bottling operations and can be traced to the first bottling franchise ever granted by The Coca-Cola Company more than a century ago. Throughout the past 20 years, we steadily acquired other bottling companies and territories to form who we are today. At our inception in 1986, we operated in 31 states of the United States and British Columbia, Canada. Today, we serve 80 percent of the North American population and we are the exclusive bottler for Coca-Cola beverages in Great Britain, continental France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Monaco. In total, our franchise territories encompass a population of 407 million people.
