New Coca-Cola Life recipe removes even more sugar

Over the next two months, we’ll be launching a reformulated Coca-Cola Life across all of our territories to reduce even further the amount of sugar it contains.

Coca-Cola Life will now contain between 40 and 50 per cent less sugar than regular colas, depending on the country in which it is sold.  The new Coca-Cola Life gives consumers the same great-tasting cola with fewer calories.

The new recipe supports our commitment to reduce the calories per litre across our entire portfolio by 10 per cent by 2020.

We were proud to launch Coca-Cola Life in 2015 with a third less sugar than regular colas. However, we wanted to take this one step further with Coca-Cola Life generation two.

Its launch forms part of our new global marketing strategy to bring all Coca-Cola variants under one brand and raise awareness of the different product choices available within the Coca-Cola range.

To find out more about how the reformulated taste was created, take a look at this video from trade magazine The Grocer.
